The Match Game

Steph has cancer, but that’s the least of her problems. Her estranged father, who may or may not have dementia, has come to live with her. Her suspicious mom, her gay brother and his sweet, young, and somewhat dim-witted boyfriend, her absent father, and her precocious daughter will all be in attendance at an ad hoc birthday party, complete with the set of a regional production of a Broadway musical. Can Steph navigate her family to get what she wants—or maybe more importantly—what she needs?

Will she betray Radamès to save her nation or risk everything to follow her heart? From its star-crossed lovers to its thunderous “Triumphal March”— featuring a 60-voice chorus—Aida is the very definition of epic and a passionate romance for the ages.

Morris and Friends
July 27
World-renowned bass and Cincinnati Opera Artistic Advisor Morris Robinson hosts and curates a special, one-night-only concert of opera, gospel, and musical theater. The concert performance features extraordinary guest soloists, including audience favorites Lawrence BrownleeJacqueline EcholsRussell ThomasWill LivermanTichina Vaughn, a 48-voice HBCU Alumni Choir, and more, plus the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
